This time, our organization conducted a health training session as part of our ongoing commitment to youth empowerment. Recognizing the significant impact of mental health and the rapid transformations within the digital world, we organized this training to support our youth in navigating these challenges effectively.
For this purpose, we were honored to have Dr. Jaafar Omar, a psychiatrist, lead the session. During the training, participants learned effective strategies for engaging with social networks responsibly and the importance of verifying information before reacting or forming opinions.
This initiative is an integral part of the project titled Youth Empowerment for Digital Safety: Combating Misinformation and Promoting Resilience. The Halabja Disabled Organization is implementing this project in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and within the framework of the Civil Society Reference Fund.
By offering such programs, we aim to strengthen the digital literacy and mental well-being of our youth, preparing them to face the challenges of the modern world with confidence and resilience.
